Ce collier qui a nécessité un peut plus de trente six heures de travail réunit un montage de ma création et une avalanche de broderies de perles en cristal de Swarovski.
A sa base la pierre volcanique et quelques perles de soleil noire, mon macadam! les perles sont niché au creux du fil métal , ceux qui permet à mon collier de garder cette forme bien ronde semi rigide,
La tomber de la nuit , d'un coter les bleus qui se dégrades peut à peut vers les gris et le noir... quand les couleurs deviennes plus sombres, les lumières s'allument.
J'ai utilisée principalement des toupie swarovski de 4 mm puis des toupies en 6 mm, cube 6 mm, 8 mm, des boutons carré, des cosmic ring gold, des navette, et poire sertie a la base du collier, pour les couleurs: light azore, light saphire, capri blue opal, saphire, capri blue, pacific opal, aquamarine, indian saphire, metallic blue, blue zircon, montana blue, star shine, volcano, jet, black diamond, crytal, comet argent, alabaster, morion, ruby, citrine, light siam, siam, sun, red, red topaz, fire opal, topaz, jonquil, vitrail medium... en cristal simple, ab et ab2x selon les couleurs.
Au dos de collier le montage est recouvert de rocailles en verre et de rocailles anciennes.
Un collier tout en volutes et en volumes.

Collier Urban Fascination
Der Gedanke an Urbane Strukturen mit ihren Zentren, Achsen und Plätzen war Ausgangspunkt dieser Kreation.
Dazu die emotionale Empfindung der Stadt: zuweilen verwirrend, aber immer auch voller überraschender Perspektiven und Faszination. Strenge Geometrie in dunklen Tönen wechselt unregelmäßig mit exzentrischen Elementen und Farben.
Eine eigenwillige und unerwartete Lösung ist der doppelte Knebelverschluss, der es erlaubt auch den Nacken durch einen schimmernden Amethyst-Aquiline mondän in Szene zu setzen.

Urban Beautiful... Au-delà de ses apparences froides, géométriques et impersonnelles, la ville est cosmopolite, la ville est multiple, elle est lumière et beauté.
J'ai souhaité, par ce collier, recréer l'univers d'une ville, avec ses buildings d'aspects semblables, et pourtant si diiférents.
Faire apparaître la dualité entre les courbes de la nature et la géométrie stricte des constructions humaines, entre le côté obscur et l'étincelante luminosité nocturne de la ville.

Inspired by the eras of British History and the architectural diversity of our cities, where modern meets classical. This piece comprises of 269 Swarovski crystals, the centre piece being 30mm Oval Volcano crystal, surrounded by 7.1mm Fireopal flatback and Volcano flatback crystals. 2 x 16mm triangle Volcano crystals depict a modern touch as well as 2 x 20mm Volcano ring crystals. The Volcano flatback crystals are further enhanced by 4mm Colorado Topaz and Colorado Topaz AB bicone crystal beads. The pendant drop comprises of an 8mm round Fireopal with a 24mm Volcano Pendant crystal attached. Collier "A twinkle geometric architecture"

Ce collier m'a été inspiré par la vue des Buildings du centre-ville de Montréal dans laquelle j'ai vécu.
L'organisation quasi-symétrique, les formes géométriques sont le fil conducteur pour cette création ainsi que le reflet permanent des lumières dans la nuit de Montréal.
Ces différents éléments de Swarovski m'ont permis de pouvoir transcrire cette vision urbaine. Les vitres des buildings correspondent aux cristaux Swarovski, le métal doré correspond à la structure des immeubles.
L'utilisation d'éléments géométriques rappelle la topographie des rues de ces nouvelles villes avec un réseau de rues strictement parallèles et perpendiculaires.
J'ai employé des couleurs chaudes afin de retranscrire l'aspect toujours bouillant et effervescent de ce centre financier de Montréal.

When my pencil sketched drawings of this necklace, I imagined the dynamics of the urban night, the movement of vehicles, stormy life of bars and restaurants, over all this deep blue sky and a soft glow of orange lights.
I created a necklace-brooch, necklace-transformer, that can be worn as a necklace purfectly for an evening dress, and as a brooch on her shoulder epaulets, that can be worn on a jacket.
All details of the necklace are provided with pins, that allow a woman to feel comfortable even at the disco.

I was inspired by Swarovski cubes and squares and the modern asymmetric forms with night city lights. I tried to compose the infinite-seeming possible varieties in one single creation. I used 3 and 4 mm Swarovski Bicones, in colours: Indicolit Satin, Indian Sapphire, Jet, Iris Green, and carrés in Crystal Vitrail Medium and jet colours. I used also Jet cubes in every sizes.

The title means: the most cristallized city of the world. Would be beautiful, if our cities would shine like my necklace does...I thought by creating my peace at streets, that are connecting the high buildings, at many humans who are passing through, very high buildings with bright windows through them we can watch people at work - even like a modern jungle. The "backside" of the necklace is build with 2 strands, that are simbolizing naturalpowers. They are the perfect balance of the city. Also I fixed peaces of a watch, that are demonstrating the time we love to count...

le disque d'argent brossé suggère le mouvement, les caissons d'ébènes sculptés et enchassés de cubes de 4 mm symbolisent le métissage des peuples, du passé et d' un avenir incertain.

Selon moi, la beauté urbaine réside dans une construction d'une régularité mathématique qui canalise la vie organique.
Une ville est un monde sophistiqué mais cruel, fait de contacts, de communication et d' interconnections qui se font et se défont au fil du temps.
Le monde urbain évoque la modernité, les technologies avancées et la fausse liberté d'un relatif anonymat.
Dans ce monde là, l'apparence est une sorte d'armure qui protège, magnifie et dissimule.
J'ai cherché a exprimer la rude beauté urbaine a travers un choix de matières et une construction esthétique.
J'ai utilisé a la fois des éléments électroniques recyclés à partir d'appareils de communication high tech, un cuir noir traité et décoré sur un mode pointilliste très moderne qui fait presque oublier sa nature animale, et, bien sur, de splendides éléments Swarovski. J'ai choisi
Les étincelants strass "flat back" que j'ai collés sur les circuits imprimés dépouillés de leurs composants originaux. Je me suis efforcée de respecter l'arrangement mathématique de chacun de ces éléments, aussi j'ai opte pour des cristaux Swarovski très géométriques et réguliers.
Chaque élément du collier est connecté aux autres a travers un réseau compliqué fait de chaines métalliques qui suggère que, bien qu'ils semblent tous indépendants les uns des autres, ils sont partie prenante dans cette construction.
Enfin j'ai baptisé ma création Google Earth en référence a ce qui est sans doute la manière la plus moderne, high tech, a la fois impersonnelle et intrusive de saisir la beauté urbaine, et dont l'esthétique particulière semble évoquée naturellement par ces sortes de villes en miniature que sont les circuits électroniques.

Urban beauty, is for me, built on a mathematical regularity wich canalize organic life .
A city is a sophisticated but quite cruel world, made of contacts, communications and
interconnections wich appears and disappears among movements of the time.
Urban world evocates modernity, high technologies, and false liberty of a relative anonymous .
In this world, apparence is like an armure wich protect, magnified and hide. So I tried to express the rude urban beauty, by matieres choice and esthetic conception.
I used both, real electronicals elements recyclied from high tech communication's apparels, black leather with pointillist and very modern deco wich make forgot its animal nature, and, of course, many gorgeous Swarovski's'elements.
I choosed sparkling flat back elements that I glued on electronical cards (after have hardly taken over the real electronicals components), I tried to respect the mathematical architecture of each of those pieces. So I added geometricals Swarovski's elements.
About colors I choosed erinite, black diamond, pacific opal, crystal vitrail and crystal copper. The separated elements of this necklace are connected to each others via a complex metallic network wich suggest that even if the elements seems to be independants they are all part of this construction.Then, I called my creation " Google Earth" thinking about this very modern, high tech, but impersonal and intrusive way to attend the urban beauty, wich provide estheticals town's'representations that I found back in those kind of miniaturised cities, that the electronicals circuits' look like .

der mann hat lange nichts gehört. er steht träumend am offenen fenster. während der tag leise an den häuserwänden verdunstet, verstreuen sich seine bilder ziellos. hier oben verlieren die wolken ihre farbe vermeintlich später. ein gedanke fällt von draussen in sein zimmer. der mann verneigt sich hinter geschlossenen lidern. schön an dich erinnert zu werden, sagt er zum augenblick. und erinnert sich. - mehrfach, passend zur nacht.
Alle Metallteile wie Ketten und Fassungen der Swarovski
Steine sind aus Messing und galvanisiert in den Farben altsilber
und grapphiti. Die komplette für mich grösste Fläche ist komplett mit Original Swarovski Steinen
besetzt in den Farben black diamond, crystal, silver shade, amethyst
und montana in verschiedenen Grössen sowie mit kleinen Strasssteinen ebenfalls Original Swarovski in black diamond.
Die Steine sind eingefasst in metallfassungen welche auf die Oberfläche gelötet wurden. Die Ketten
oben sowie unten sind ebenfalls mit Swarovski Steinen versehen und auch den
Enden zum Abschluss wieder Swarovski Steine.

Quoi de plus représentatif dans les villes, que l’art des rues ! Ce collier m’a été inspiré par les GRAFFITIS que l’on retrouve dans chaque ville. C’est un travail très minutieux par le choix des couleurs et dans la précision du travail qui n’est pas un exercice facile par la proximité du tag et du tagueur. J’ai voulu à ma façon rendre hommage à cet art en m’inspirant d’un graffiti pour réaliser le tour de cou et pour l’élément central je me suis inspirée des populations ethniques qui donnent toute la richesse aux villes.

The idea behind the necklace I designed for the Urban Beautiful Competition was to create something with an urban modern elegance. To me the prismatic shades of blue, black and gray are the colors of a night time lens flare, enhancing all the different colors in a single spot of light yet in the family of a vision.

Midnight in St James Park

Inspired by the still quiet of St James park in London at night, with the light catching the blues of the water and the iridescent wings of mosquitoes. Instead of a moon there is a clock face, showing 5 minutes to midnight, and replacing the light of stars are the distant red lights of aeroplanes and the orange shine of a cats eyes in the dark.
